I recently got my hands on the EPOS Impact 1060 for review, and let me tell you, this on-ear Bluetooth® headset from EPOS, a renowned global audio brand, is definitely worth considering, especially if you’re a remote worker who frequently engages in online meetings with a newborn nearby.
First things first, the price tag on these units is a bit steep.
A single piece can set you back a couple of hundred dollars.

However, the quality and performance you get in return make it well worth the investment, particularly if you heavily rely on Microsoft Teams to get your office work done from home.
Now, here’s the thing.
If you’re an Apple user, you might want to think twice before purchasing this unit.
I initially checked with the publicists of this brand about its compatibility with Apple devices, but setting it up proved to be quite challenging.
Eventually, I gave up and decided to test the headset on my JOI laptop, which I received as part of a review for this site last year.
To my delight, pairing the EPOS Impact 1060 with my Windows-based JOI laptop was a breeze.

It literally took seconds to connect, and I was able to effortlessly use it with Microsoft Teams for my work. No dramas there!
However, after visiting the EPOS website, I discovered that the earpiece can be customized according to your preferences, and the pricing varies accordingly.
I highly recommend requesting a trial before committing to a purchase, especially if you plan on using it with Apple devices.
You might need some assistance to set it up correctly in that case.

All in all, I believe the EPOS Impact 1060 is a must-have for your home office, especially if you’re a parent as you certainly don’t want your child being disturbed by your discussions during a Teams meeting or worst have your colleagues listen in to what your child is up to in the background.
Furthermore, this headset is ideal for telephone operators who work from home for large corporations like Apple, Telstra, or NAB.
It’s designed with comfort in mind, making it perfect for long hours of wear.
To sum it up, the EPOS Impact 1060 is a great purchase, especially if you have some extra funds coming your way with your upcoming tax return.
You can use it to enhance your work setup and offset the cost in the following year.
So, go ahead and consider investing in this fantastic headset.
