Brisbane, Oct 11: A brand new film production and content creation space has opened its doors in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
The newly launched Standard Studios is a purpose-built production studio, housing two separate studios, for photography, film, eCommerce and product content production.
Inspired by Los Angeles’ famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard, the space has a one of a kind feel to it and as they say, is truly setting a new ‘standard’ for this offering in the Queensland market.
Standard Studios allows companies and creators to utilise the highest-end production space in Queensland, fostering a creative hub for some of Australia’s leading brands.
The studios boast a dedicated studio manager to take care of all your needs in the lead up to, and on the day of use, including sourcing lunch from nearby venues, and ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible for your team.
Both studios are fully accessible with a van or car to take you right to the door of the studio, meaning there’s no need to lug heavy products or equipment.
Standard Studios Manager, Isabella Jelander, said the studios fill a much-needed gap in the Queensland content creation, production and photography market.
“We looked to LA for inspiration given its the home of film and production and birthed Standard – a state-of-the-art studio space housed inside a beautifully restored old building. Whilst in LA touring studios we learned that location, architecture and customer service are key, and we noted that there was nothing like this on offer in Queensland,” Jelander said.
“Standard is receiving great feedback on all fronts, in particular having myself as the dedicated Studio Manager, offering ‘hotel concierge’ style service to our clients.
“Throughout a booking we can source refreshments from our amazing food and beverage partners, including award-winning James St restaurants, access to state-of-the-art furniture on rotation and much more. We are not simply hiring out space – we are providing a first class experience to give our clients the very best chance to succeed, which we feel was missing from the market big time.
“The fully customisable studios can host a vast range of high-level production requirements, from atmospheric films, commercials, campaign videos and photography from still life shoots to eCommerce shots (with and without models) – the list goes on.”
The studio has already hosted shoots for leading Australian brands and photographers including SABA, Freedom, Squealing Pig, KFIT, Medley Jewellery, Kate Rosenberg and more since opening just four weeks ago, and boasts furniture from Living Edge and Freedom on frequent rotation throughout the spaces.
Standard Studios is now open and ready to be booked for shoots.
