Reliable Power, Anywhere Anytime

By June Ramli

When I first got the CyberPower UPS, I was excited about its promise of energy-saving technology.
Using their GreenPower UPS technology, it’s designed to consume less power, generate less heat, and save on energy costs compared to regular UPS models.
Honestly, anything that helps reduce my bills and carbon footprint gets a thumbs-up from me.
One feature I’ve found incredibly helpful is the Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR).
I live in an area where power can fluctuate, and this ensures my devices get consistent power without interruptions.
It’s reassuring to know that my gear is protected even during unpredictable power conditions.
The LCD readout is another standout.
It’s super intuitive and gives me real-time updates on power, battery, and load status. For someone who likes to stay in control, having that clear, at-a-glance information is a big win.
I also appreciated the USB charging port—it’s plug-and-play, so I can quickly charge my phone or other gadgets without hunting for an adapter.

Whether I’m at my desk or working remotely, this little feature has been surprisingly convenient.
The surge-protected outlets and data line protection are lifesavers, especially with all the sensitive equipment I have connected.
Knowing they’re protected from lightning or electrical surges gives me peace of mind.
Another handy feature is the configurable alarm. It alerts me to any unexpected issues, but I also have the option to silence it when running on battery mode.
This is perfect when I’m on a video call or working late and don’t want distractions.
Space is always a concern, so I was glad to see the wall-mount design.
I mounted it easily, and now it’s off my desk and out of the way.
The PowerPanel software is a game-changer for managing the UPS. I connected it to my laptop via USB, and it lets me monitor everything, adjust power settings, and even schedule automatic PC shutdowns during outages. If you’re into remote management, their PowerPanel Cloud Solution is worth checking out—it lets you monitor and control the UPS from anywhere through an app. I haven’t tried it yet, but the free trial makes it tempting.
One thing to keep in mind—this UPS is on the heavier side.
Carrying it from the post office to my place was a bit of a workout.
If you’re ordering one, be prepared for the weight.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone working in an office or remotely.
It keeps your devices safe, saves energy, and adds a layer of convenience to your setup. Just maybe don’t skip leg day before picking it up!
