Sydney, Dec 31: I was recently gifted the MX Skincare Sensitive Skin Solution to try and review.
The set, priced at $329, includes a foaming cleanser, Vitamin B3+ serum, facial oil, hydrating masque, and moisturizer.
After using the range for a month, here’s my honest feedback.
The first thing that stood out to me was how small the product sizes were.
For a premium-priced set, I expected more generous amounts. That said, I was excited to see how the range would work on my skin.
The foaming cleanser had a gel-like consistency that felt nice and gentle on the skin.
It did a decent job of cleansing without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight, but I found the texture slightly heavy and it took a bit more effort to rinse off completely.
The Vitamin B3+ serum quickly became my favorite in the set.
It absorbed well, left no stickiness, and made my skin feel smoother and more hydrated.
The facial oil was lightweight and worked beautifully as part of my nighttime routine. It left my skin feeling soft and nourished by morning.
The hydrating masque was a treat to use, especially after a long day.
It left my skin feeling refreshed and plump.
My only complaint is the size—it feels like it will run out quickly if used regularly, which is a shame because it’s a lovely product.
The moisturizer was lightweight and absorbed quickly, which I appreciated.
It offered decent hydration, but on particularly dry days, I found myself needing to reapply it later in the day.
Overall, the MX Skincare Sensitive Skin Solution has some standout products, especially the Vitamin B3+ serum and hydrating masque.
While I appreciated the chance to try this range, I do think the smaller sizes and high price tag make it a bit of a splurge.
It’s a good option if you’re looking to pamper sensitive skin, but I’d personally prefer larger sizes for better value.
