Harrison.ai Unveils New AI

Sydney, Sept 5: Healthcare AI company Harrison.ai has launched Harrison.rad.1, a groundbreaking vision language model designed to tackle radiology challenges and improve healthcare outcomes.
This model, now accessible to select healthcare professionals and regulators, is aimed at fostering discussions about responsible AI use in healthcare.
Harrison.rad.1 is a radiology-specific model capable of performing a variety of functions, including generating reports and detecting findings from X-ray images.
According to Robyn Denholm, Harrison.ai Board Director, “Harrison.rad.1 is transformative and an exciting next step for the company.”
Unlike existing generative AI models, Harrison.rad.1 is trained on real-world, diverse clinical data and annotated by medical experts.

The model has already outperformed other leading AI systems on radiology benchmarks, including the Royal College of Radiologists’ (FRCR) 2B exam.
Harrison.rad.1’s performance puts it on par with accredited radiologists, highlighting its potential in the highly regulated healthcare sector.
By opening Harrison.rad.1 to further evaluations, Harrison.ai aims to continue pushing innovation in healthcare AI, contributing to the conversation around AI’s future role in patient care.
