Kuala Lumpur, Sept 4: Marriott International, Inc. has promoted Lisa Low to Hotel Manager and Nuno Abreu to Director of B&F (Beverage and Food) for W Kuala Lumpur.
The hotel, a luxury city escape in Kuala Lumpur City Centre with iconic views, opened in August 2018, marking the brand’s debut in Malaysia.
Lisa, who has been with W Kuala Lumpur since 2020, steps into her new role with a strong background in the hospitality industry.
Previously the Director of Sales & Marketing, she brings a wealth of experience from her work with brands like Four Seasons, Westin Langkawi, Sheraton Imperial, St. Regis, and Hilton Kuala Lumpur. As Hotel Manager, she will be responsible for maintaining guest satisfaction, driving team engagement, and developing sales strategies, reporting directly to General Manager Volker Burth.
Nuno, with over a decade of experience in the luxury food and beverage sector, assumes his new position as Director of B&F.
He has worked with The St. Regis Dubai, The Ritz-Carlton, and Autograph Collection. Nuno will oversee W Kuala Lumpur’s banquet service, in-room dining, and its four food and beverage outlets.
He will continue working closely with the hotel’s culinary team, led by Avai Manogaran.
General Manager Volker Burth welcomed the promotions, highlighting both leaders’ dedication to enhancing the hotel’s reputation locally and internationally.
