Sydney, Oct 26: Epson has been honored with several 2023 Good Design Awards for its innovative product designs aimed at improving people’s lives and society as a whole. Epson’s award-winning products include:
WorkForce AM-C4000.
Business Inkjet Printers: Epson’s WorkForce Enterprise LM-C4000, 5000, and 6000 (known as WorkForce AM-C4000, 5000, and 6000 in A/NZ) are high-speed A3 inkjet printers designed for medium to large offices. These inkjet printers use less power than their laser counterparts, thanks to their heat-free ink-firing technology. Their environmentally friendly design focuses on resource-saving and an unimposing, clean, and rounded exterior.
The reason for the award: The Good Design Awards recognized the printers for their elegant body design and eco-friendly inkjet system. They noted that future designs of optional units, such as finishers and paper feeding units, should harmonize with the overall body design.

Compact Photo Printers for Business: Epson’s SL-D500 Series of compact photo printers are designed for commercial use and can be efficiently installed in stores. Their lightweight and compact body size, frontal operation, and stackable box design make them suitable for narrow shelves or counters. The large-capacity ink tank model helps lower environmental impact by reducing consumables and waste.
The reason for the award: These printers are ideal for town shops offering photo printing services, with all operations accessible from the front panel and the ability to install multiple units side by side to save space.
SC-F2250 (known as the SC-F2260 in A/NZ).
Garment Printers: Epson’s SureColor SC-F2200 Series directly prints on t-shirts and clothing, featuring a compact design for ease of installation, expansion, and transport. Epson also improved the operating unit’s design, enhancing productivity and reducing downtime, contributing to the digitalization of the textile printing industry.
The reason for the award: The redesign of the garment printer made it more compact and space-saving. It features an appealing appearance, easily operable controls, and user-friendly software with organized graphics.
