Malaysia’s 15th general election proved that democracy is still alive and well in our country.
The people of Malaysia did their duties, and with the guidance of our respected YDPA and Kings, it is clear that the choice made was brilliant.
As a fellow Malaysian, I am glad that the political instability after the election was resolved in a valuable manner.
Nevertheless, a man who has been through hardships throughout his lifetime in the political arena is now crowned as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
I am sending my great wishes to YAB Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and as a citizen of this country, I hope that he will bring great changes to our country.
Perikatan Nasional lost this election, but we are still committed to serving the people of this country.
Due to that, we chose to be an opposition to Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s current government to ensure that there will be political stability, as oppositions are an important factor in ensuring that the voices of the people are heard louder.
I don’t think that being in opposition means that we are being excluded from performing our duties, but I do believe that as oppositions, we are now playing a vital role in delivering the pain and sufferings of the people when the government might be sidetracked by other matters.
This is what they meant by “political stability,” and the need for an opposition is a must.
However, in order to properly congratulate Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, we must first understand that he is a well-respected man in his field.
No man is perfect, but he is one of a kind.
The recognition that he gained from world leaders, especially from countries like Palestine and Japan, speaks volumes.
This is why, despite being in opposition, I have my hopes, and I’m sure that the rest of the Malaysian population would have the same idea too.
I share the same visions as our 10th Prime Minister when it comes to serving the people, but perhaps the differences lie within the context of how we want to save our people.
To all the supporters of Perikatan Nasional, know that your voices aren’t shunned just because our party did not manage to govern this beautiful country.
We are still here to fight and ensure that Malaysia ends up prosperous in every aspect, especially for future generations.
