Kuala Lumpur, July 6: Awesome TV has announced the appointment of two new senior executives to its station.
Effective July 1, Mazlan Mahdi has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Awesome TV while veteran journalist Datuk Yushaimi Maulud Yahaya will assume the position of Editor -in -Chief of Berita 757.
Mazlan has more than 20 years of experience in the field of broadcasting involving projects related to the development, implementation, and operation of digital TV infrastructure.
He will be made responsible for spearheading various high-impact projects and is directly involved in the development of technology infrastructure for national broadcasting stations such as MYTV and Astro.
While Yushaimi also has more than 30 years of experience in the media industry, especially in the field of journalism.
He would be entrusted to hold various editorial roles and senior positions in the management division.
Both Mazlan and Yushaimi will be reporting to Awesome TV’s CEO, Datuk Adam Ilyas.
“We at Awesome TV are very excited about the appointment of the company’s two newest senior management members,” Adam said.
“Both bring with them many years of experience in their respective fields.”
