Want to learn something new but at the same time not ready to break the bank, yet? Fret not, as we have got you covered with a range of free online learning courses and tools that you can learn during your free time.
These newly acquired skills would not only make you more valuable as an employee but could also help you get started with your business idea or at the very least help you in becoming a successful freelancer. First up, we have:

Facebook Blueprint
The is a free resource offered by Meta to help small business owners and freelancers learn a thing or two about Facebook marketing. It takes at least two days to learn the entire syllabus.

Digital Garage
This is another free resource provided by tech giant Google. I saw a YouTube ad that said that those living in Australia, would get at least 40 free courses to learn from. So, what are you waiting for, it’s time to go loco, my friend.

Grasshopper
This is a free program created by Google aimed at helping you to learn to code in bite sizes. All you need is five minutes per day to learn how to code. When you know how to code you can build heaps of stuff and perhaps even an app.

Semrush and Yoast

Amazon
Listing on Amazon can be a nightmare but why not make money helping others to do it. You can sell your services on freelance marketplaces like Fiverr and Upwork if you know how to work with this beast and what better way would that be than learning from the masters themselves through these free online webinars. These webinars are all presented live during lunchtime and if you can’t attend them, sign in any way, as they will be sure to email you a recording once the webinar is over.

Canva
I only just discovered this but Canva is now dishing out free training on how to use their platform. They also send out recordings once the event is over, so even if you can’t attend the webinar at the set time just sign up for it anyway and they will be sure to email you the recording once the webinar is over.

Blender
This is an open-source 3D computer graphics software that would be beneficial for you to learn how to use. It is open source so what that really means is that it is free of charge. If you know how to work this software, I can bet you 100 per cent that your employability skills will be widened. Trust me on this.
