Our guest today is Kuala Lumpur-based Datuk Yasmin Mahmood – who has a highly distinguished career, spanning three decades in which time she has worked with various technology giants such as Hewlett Packard and Dell. In 2006, she became Microsoft Malaysia’s Managing Director and in 2014 she was appointed as the CEO of Malaysia’s Digital Economy Corp Sdn Bhd (MDEC) and was instrumental in the region’s digital economic transformation. She also served in various non-executive roles in prominent establishments including the national postal and courier company, POS Malaysia as Chairperson and much more. Apart from being Chair of Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Board of Directors, Yasmin is also the managing partner of FutureReady Consulting.
