Qatar adds Perth flights

Perth, March 12: Qatar Airways has issued a fresh operational update, confirming limited scheduled flights in the coming days as it works through ongoing disruption caused by the temporary closure of Qatari airspace.
For Australian travellers, Perth is among the routes included in the revised schedule. Flights are listed to depart from Doha to Perth on March 13 and March 16, while services from Perth to Doha are scheduled for March 14 and March 17. Kuala Lumpur is also included, with Doha departures on March 13 and March 15, and return services to Doha on March 14 and March 16.
Other destinations covered in the temporary schedule include Seoul, Dhaka, Jeddah, Bangkok, Kochi, Algiers, Miami, Istanbul, Cairo, Amsterdam, London, Milan, Paris, Riyadh, Muscat, Shanghai, Manila, Johannesburg, Dallas, Toronto, Colombo, Islamabad, Mumbai, Rome, Madrid, Frankfurt, Delhi, Melbourne, New York, Sao Paulo, Hong Kong, Beijing and Jakarta.
The airline said these flights are being operated under limited authorised corridors and remain subject to regulatory approval and changing airspace conditions. It added that normal scheduled operations will only fully resume once Qatari authorities declare the airspace safely reopened.
Qatar Airways has also arranged selected direct point-to-point flights for some affected passengers, who will be contacted directly if eligible. Travellers with confirmed bookings between February 28 and March 22, 2026, can also access two complimentary date changes of up to 14 days from the original travel date or request a refund for the unused value of their ticket.
