Sydney, Nov 20: A new all-in-one home audio device, the Immerse 2, has been released, combining a 50W speaker, Qi2-certified wireless charger and built-in powerbank in a single unit.
The rectangular unit features 2 x 70mm drivers, 2 x 25mm tweeters and dual passive radiators, delivering up to 8 hours of playback at 50 per cent volume when used unplugged.
The company says the speaker can be fully recharged in around two hours.
The Immerse 2 includes a 37Wh powerbank (3 x 3.7V⎓3350mAh) and a Qi2-certified wireless charging pad with up to 15W output.
The charger uses magnetic alignment and is MagSafe compatible, designed to remove the guesswork from placing devices on the pad.
For users wanting multi-room or party setups, the speaker is UNISYNC™ compatible, allowing up to 50 speakers to be linked together.
Connectivity and controls include Bluetooth 5.4, a 3.5mm aux input and touch control buttons.
The device also offers a 10W USB-C charging output.
It weighs 2.6kg and measures 300 x 130 x 76mm, and comes with an Australian standard charging cable and a 24-month warranty.
In testing by DailyStraits.com, the Immerse 2 paired with a smartphone almost instantly and was used both as a desk speaker and as a wireless charger while the review was being prepared.
