Harbour 10 Launches July

Sydney, April 30: A new era of running begins on Sunday 27 July 2025 with the launch of the Real Insurance Harbour 10, a reimagined 10km and 5km race built by runners, for runners. Officially opening for registration on May 1, the event promises more than just a race — it’s designed to bring connection, community, and energy to Sydney’s winter running scene.
“This is about more than splits and finish times,” said Wayne Larden, Race Director. “It’s about that electric moment on the start line with your run crew, the crisp winter air in your lungs, a spectacular flat Harbourside course and the kind of finish line energy that stays with you long after you cross it.”
Set against Sydney’s iconic harbour backdrop, the event caters to everyone from first-timers to PB chasers and aims to be a mid-winter highlight for the city’s running culture. An after party will follow the race, enhancing the social vibe.
The event also has a philanthropic edge, supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF), with funds going toward cancer research. Since 2022, the race has raised significant contributions toward this cause.
