Sydney, April 23: Australian indie rock favourites Spacey Jane are turning up the volume this May with an exclusive free concert in Sydney, in partnership with Spotify.
The one-night-only event, set for Friday, 9 May, will mark the launch of their highly anticipated third studio album, If That Makes Sense, and will be part of Spotify’s new music initiative, ‘Turn Up Aus’, which aims to champion and celebrate homegrown Australian talent.
The intimate event will give fans a rare, up-close experience with the Fremantle-based band, known for their raw lyrics, infectious melodies, and devoted fanbase.
But here’s the catch: only five double passes are available for this money-can’t-buy event—making it one of the most exclusive live music experiences of the year.
To enter the draw, fans simply need to register their interest before 5 May.
The lucky winners will be notified on 6 May 2025.
In addition to the live performance, attendees will be treated to a nostalgic visual gallery, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Spacey Jane’s journey so far.
The exhibition will showcase never-before-seen photos and media, giving fans a deeper insight into the making of the new album and the band’s rise from Aussie indie darlings to international acclaim.
Spotify’s ‘Turn Up Aus’ campaign reflects the platform’s continued investment in supporting local artists and connecting them with new audiences.
By hosting immersive experiences like this, Spotify is helping to bridge the gap between artists and fans in meaningful, memorable ways.
With demand expected to be sky-high and only a handful of spots available, fans are encouraged to keep an eye out for the registration link when the embargo lifts on Wednesday, 23 April.
For those who miss out—don’t worry.
If That Makes Sense will be available on Spotify from 9 May 2025, so you can still turn it up and tune in, wherever you are.
