Building A Brand

By June Ramli

Here’s a little update on LazyBum Skincare – it’s been a long time coming, but things are finally starting to fall into place.
After months of indecision and countless internal debates, I’ve made the call to go all in and move forward with the next phase of the brand.
A lot has changed behind the scenes since the idea was first sparked, and I’m now approaching everything with a clearer vision and much more structure than before.
One of the key things I’m currently working on is revamping the packaging for three of our existing products.
This isn’t just a visual refresh – it’s about aligning the look and feel of LazyBum with the story and values we’re trying to tell.
I want the brand to feel premium, playful, and practical, and the new packaging will reflect that.
As for the perfume – yes, it’s finally happening!
The concept has been sitting in my notebook for far too long, and now it’s time to bring it to life.
I’m still going back and forth between a roll-on or a spray format.
Each has its pros and cons, and I want to make sure whatever I decide fits seamlessly into our customers’ lifestyles.
The goal is to offer something that feels fresh, effortless, and uniquely LazyBum.
Today, I also had my first call with our new account manager – someone who will play a key role in getting us from idea to execution.
She was fantastic, super helpful, and it finally felt like things were moving.
Sometimes, just having that first proper conversation with someone who understands the vision can make all the difference.
The immediate next step is to lock in the final packaging design.
Once that’s done, we’ll shift into the manufacturing phase.
It’s both nerve-racking and exciting, but I’m ready.
I’ve learned from past delays and now I’m approaching everything more strategically – this time, it’s not just about launching a product, it’s about building a brand with staying power.
So stay tuned – LazyBum is back on track, and I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
