Alexa+ Enhances AI
Amazon has introduced Alexa+, a smarter and more conversational AI assistant with enhanced personalization and proactive capabilities. The new assistant improves interaction by understanding context and integrating seamlessly with thousands of services, including GrubHub, OpenTable, Ticketmaster, Uber, and various smart home devices.
Alexa+ can now infer user needs, such as adjusting the thermostat when someone says they’re cold or dimming lights when it’s too bright. It also enhances entertainment experiences by allowing users to discuss music, movies, and TV shows in detail.
Initially available in the U.S., Alexa+ will expand to other countries where Alexa is currently offered, with localization efforts underway for Australia and New Zealand.
Alienware Unveils Monitors
Alienware has announced six new gaming monitors featuring the AW30 design language, first introduced at CES. This new aesthetic brings a futuristic look with functional improvements such as a compact base, 360-degree ventilation, and simplified cable management to enhance desk organization.
The Interstellar Indigo colorway, distinctive AW30 glyph iconography, and an updated OSD UI with AWCC 6.6 further refine the user experience.
Alienware is also expanding its QD-OLED lineup, adding three new flagship displays to enhance visual fidelity, bringing the total to five models in this premium category.
Lenovo unveils AI tech
At MWC 2025, Lenovo introduced groundbreaking hybrid AI innovations, showcasing new AI-powered devices, infrastructure solutions, and enterprise AI applications. The company unveiled AI-integrated ThinkPad, ThinkBook, Yoga, and IdeaPad laptops, alongside next-generation business solutions with enhanced security and personalization.
Key highlights include the ThinkBook “codename Flip” AI PC Concept, the Yoga Solar PC Concept, and Lenovo AI Now, an intelligent on-device AI assistant. Lenovo also launched the ThinkEdge SE100, an entry-level AI inferencing server designed to make AI at the edge more affordable for businesses.
These advancements reinforce Lenovo’s vision for democratizing AI, bringing seamless, efficient, and secure AI experiences across devices, the cloud, and enterprise infrastructure.
