Dan Rath’s New Comedy Show

Sydney, Feb 6: Award-winning comedian Dan Rath has announced his 2025 festival dates for Tropical Depression, a follow-up to his 2023 Piece of Wood Award-winning show.
The latest instalment in his string of personal misfortunes features stories of bizarre mishaps, including losing crypto on a mermaid skeleton and forming a parasocial bond with a chatbot.
Rath’s previous works include All Quiet Carriage Along the Inner West Line, which won the Piece of Wood Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2023), and Bubble Bath, which earned him a Best Newcomer nomination in 2019.
His special I’m Not Doing Well Folks has over 100k YouTube views since its March 2024 release.

YOHKA Debuts in Melbourne

Sydney, Feb 6: Australia’s latest fitness racing sensation, YOHKA, is set to make its debut at the AusFitness Expo in Melbourne (March 29-30, 2025). Recognized as the first Olympic fitness racing sport for LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032, YOHKA is already backed by Red Bull and promises to challenge competitors with gruelling obstacles and high-energy competition.
The event will feature a 100-metre Sprint Series course, testing agility, speed, and power. Participants will have three attempts to clock their best time, with daily cash prizes for the top three contenders. Winners will be invited to compete at the AusFitness Expo Sydney (September 19-21, 2025), where new surprises await.

Indian Film Fest Expands

Sydney, Feb 10: The National Indian Film Festival of Australia (NIFFA) is set to be the biggest Indian film event in the country, featuring over 40 films across seven cities from 13 February to 2 March 2025.
The Australian premiere of Superboys of Malegaon, which screened at TIFF and BFI London, will open the festival with red carpet events in Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and Melbourne before a nationwide release on 27 February.
The festival will close with Tannishtha Chatterjee’s Rome Roam Mein. NIFFA also features three world premieres, 36 Australian premieres, and a Shyam Benegal retrospective, with screenings of rare Indian language films.

CXO2 at CCW 2025
SYDNEY, 26 February 2025 – CXO2 will bring its expertise in customer experience (CX) transformation to Customer Contact Week (CCW) A/NZ 2025, held at The Star on the Gold Coast from 4-6 March.
