Kuala Lumpur, Jan 20: Seven Bank, Ltd., part of the 7-Eleven group, announced plans to enhance banking accessibility in Malaysia through the rollout of its ATM services. The announcement was made at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur.
The bank installed its first cash recycling machine in Rawang this month.
The initial phase of the expansion includes deploying 100 ATMs across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, and Johor, with plans to extend to Sabah and Sarawak by 2026. The initiative targets suburban areas, aiming to improve banking access for underserved communities.
“We have established a new brand name, Reachful, as a strong start in Malaysia and a continued growth of our overseas business,” said Masaaki Matsuhashi, President and Representative Director of Seven Bank Limited.

According to Jin Sudo, CEO of Abadi Tambah Mulia Internasional Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s growing population, GDP, and high currency circulation present a promising market for expansion.
Since launching its first overseas ATMs in the United States in 2017, Seven Bank has installed over 21,000 ATMs across the U.S., Indonesia, and the Philippines. Malaysia marks the fourth overseas market for the company, which aims to integrate retail and financial services for added value.
