Sydney, Dec 6: Qantas has extended its long-term global distribution agreement with Sabre Corporation, reaffirming its commitment to providing travel agents worldwide with access to both traditional and New Distribution Capability (NDC) content.
The renewed partnership ensures seamless booking and retailing for agents while enhancing flexibility and personalization in the travel ecosystem.
As the holiday season approaches, Qantas is rolling out customer experience enhancements alongside its festive fleet, which includes the QantasLink Q400 ‘Dasher-8’ and Boeing 737 ‘Roo-dolph,’ both decked out in Christmas livery.
Customers traveling on these aircraft throughout December can earn double points.
Qantas Freight’s A321, adorned with ‘Santa’s Freight’ livery, will transport gifts and festive fare across Australia.
To elevate the holiday experience, Qantas is introducing new inflight and lounge menus featuring premium Australian producers, a refreshed beer range, and exclusive cocktails like the Qantas Aviation Spritz.
Qantas Group Chief Customer and Digital Officer Catriona Larritt said, “We know our customers, especially the youngest ones, love flying on our special festive aircraft, and so we are delighted they are making a return in 2024.”
This festive activity is part of Qantas’ broader customer enhancements, including seasonal inflight and lounge offerings, airport activations, and surprise gifting for travelers, which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
