EPB Group Berhad has signed an underwriting agreement with Malacca Securities for its upcoming IPO on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.
The IPO includes a public issue of 71,570,000 new ordinary shares and an offer for sale of 40,000,000 shares.
Managing Director of EPB, Yeoh Chee Min, stated, “Our vision is to broaden our market reach and enhance our offerings in the food processing and packaging machinery sector. This IPO is a strategic step towards achieving that goal.”
Lim Chia Wei of Malacca Securities added, “We are delighted to assist EPB Group with its upcoming IPO. The Group’s comprehensive approach…sets a solid foundation for future growth.”
The industry is projected to grow at a CAGR of 9.7 per cent from RM1.80 billion in 2023 to RM2.66 billion in 2027.

Tex Cycle Technology (M) Berhad, in partnership with Green Lagoon Technology, has launched Malaysia’s first centralised biogas power plant in Bukit Pasir, Johor.
This facility converts palm oil mill effluent into clean energy, reducing environmental waste and supporting local economic growth.
“The operational start of the GLT BP Power plant is a landmark achievement in our ongoing commitment to sustainable energy. This project enhances our portfolio in clean energy and underscores our dedication to innovative environmental solutions,” said Gary Dass, Group CEO of Tex Cycle.
“Today’s project also demonstrates the potential of public-private partnerships to solve complex environmental challenges while boosting our economy,” remarked YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin, Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities.
“We are proud to launch Malaysia’s first centralised 3.5-megawatt biogas plant… This initiative not only aligns with Malaysia’s energy transition goals but also sets a precedent for future organic waste transformation,” added Raymond Cheah, COO of GLT BP Power Sdn Bhd.
Tex Cycle continues to align with national sustainability targets, aiming for rapid growth in the renewable energy sector, highlighted by their various ongoing projects and partnerships.

LinkAxia, Barracuda Expand Partnership

LinkAxia Networks has extended its partnership with Barracuda Networks, enhancing its cybersecurity offerings for Malaysian businesses. This collaboration will provide access to a broader range of Barracuda’s email security, application security, cloud, and data protection products.

AGAPE ATP Corporation (ATPC) has relaunched its subsidiary as ATPC Green Energy Sdn. Bhd. and has partnered with B&H Intec Solution Sdn Bhd to offer advanced energy-saving solutions.
“The potential in the energy-saving space is vast and untapped. Matching the right M&E services to different companies can result in a substantial reduction in energy consumption,” said Chen Wei Kent, CEO of B&H.
“We aim to address this urgent energy demand by providing innovative energy-saving solutions across major sectors, leveraging the extensive expertise of B&H leadership team,” explained Prof Dato’ Sri Dr How Kok Choong, Founder and Global Group CEO of ATPC.
This partnership will see B&H’s founder and management team joining ATPC Green Energy as executive officers and shareholders, holding a 30 per cent equity stake.
This collaboration allows ATPC Green Energy to utilize B&H’s expertise and customer base to drive energy efficiency initiatives in various sectors.
ATPC is dedicated to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and aims to create a comprehensive renewable energy ecosystem in ASEAN, including energy-saving solutions, solar projects, and other renewable technologies.
