Last Hump Day, I visited three sites in Sydney that I had always wanted to see but never had the chance to until recently.
I received tickets to review several man-made tourist attractions in the heart of Sydney: Madame Tussauds, Sea Life, WILD LIFE, and the Sydney Tower.
Out of all the venues I visited, only Sydney Tower was familiar to me as I had visited it before.
Let’s start with the most interesting one: Sea Life.

It was my first time visiting this marine park, and I was absolutely amazed by the sheer number of fish they had, including five sharks and a massive dugong, which was something I did not expect at all.
The park features numerous aquariums leading up to Dugong Island, allowing visitors to marvel at various marine life before reaching the main attractions: Dugong Island, the sharks, the stingrays, and a variety of other fish on display.
For those who are really interested in fish, I think you should visit at least once.

There is a distinct smell when you reach Dugong Island, but it is a typical scent for fish areas.
The sharks were intimidating to watch, as all five were cramped into a pool with other fish species, including stingrays.
Observing the stingrays from below was enchanting, as I got a good look at how they appear from the bottom; some even had cute faces.
The highlight for me was watching the dugong being fed salad leaves.
I never knew that dugongs ate salad leaves until I saw it myself.

I also managed to get some good photographs, making it seem like I was in the sea with the animals, thanks to my phone camera (though I won’t say which make it was).
Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend to everyone, not just those with kids or tourists.
Despite being surrounded by office buildings, Sea Life offers a perfect escape.

If you’ve had a tough day at work, a visit to Sea Life is sure to brighten your day or give you the vigor needed to continue working.
For me, it was a wonderful experience to connect with nature in an aquatic environment.
It offers a similar thrill to scuba diving for those hesitant to dive in themselves, and it’s also great for budding photographers.
So, what are you waiting for? Go and visit Sea Life today!
