Sydney, April 14: Faraz Tahir, a refugee from Pakistan, has been identified as one of the victims in the horrific stabbing attack at Westfield Bondi Junction.
He has been posthumously hailed as a hero by his local mosque, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Australia.
In a heartrending incident that shook the local community, Tahir, along with Dawn Singleton, Jade Young, and Ashlee Good, tragically lost their lives.
The attack occurred during a busy time at the shopping center, leaving several others injured and a community in mourning.
Aged 30, Tahir had sought refuge in Australia just a year ago to escape persecution in his homeland.
