Gibson Scholarship Amplifies Talent

Nashville, April 12: Gibson, an esteemed leader in the American instrument industry for over 130 years, and its philanthropic branch, Gibson Gives, are dedicated to the transformative power of music.
They operate under the belief that providing instruments to those eager to make music can significantly alter lives.
This year, Gibson Gives is excited to partner with 1500 Sound Academy, an advanced music school in Inglewood, CA, renowned for its comprehensive music curriculum covering Music Production, Engineering, Songwriting, Mixing, Music Business, and Artist Branding.
This collaboration aims to foster global musical talent, extending scholarships and resources to students not only in Los Angeles but also in Beijing, China, and Taipei, Taiwan.
Erica Krusen, Senior Director of Global Cultural Influence at Gibson and Executive Director of Gibson Gives, stated, “Music has the power to transform lives, and at Gibson Gives, we are committed to amplifying this transformative potential. Our joint effort will help foster musical talent across the globe, reaching students in Los Angeles, Beijing, and Taiwan.”

Gibson Gives will award five music scholarships valued at $25,000 each, alongside musical instruments and gear exceeding $12,500 across the programs in the aforementioned cities.
Students in the Los Angeles area are invited to apply for the Gibson Gives Scholarship here by April 19, 2024, at 5 PM PT.
