Sydney, April 9: Sydney is set to host a weekend of charitable challenges that will see participants climbing the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and hitting the pavement for the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10K&5K, all in support of crucial causes.
The festivities kick off on Sunday, May 8, 2024, with BridgeClimb Sydney’s collaboration with Australian Red Cross for the return of the Climb for a Cause event.
This initiative invites individuals, groups, and organizations to ascend the arches of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, raising awareness and funds for the humanitarian efforts of the Australian Red Cross.

Participants in the Climb for a Cause are encouraged to register as either an individual or a team, with ticket prices set to support the cause directly.
The event not only offers a thrilling climb led by expert Climb Leaders but also includes surprises like complimentary refreshments from Nudie Juice and prize opportunities for top fundraisers.
Following the bridge climb, the excitement continues on Sunday, July 28, 2024, with the “Run Back in Time, Retro Run” as part of the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10K&5K.
This unique event transports participants back to the lively 80s and 90s running scenes, encouraging runners to dress in their retro best while supporting the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF). Celebrating its 40th anniversary, ACRF has been at the forefront of cancer research, contributing significantly to advancements in the field.
The Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10K&5K will offer participants a scenic, flat course along the Sydney Harbour, enhanced by 80s and 90s music, entertainment, and themed zones.
This year, the organization will reaffirm its mission to provide leading Australian cancer research through their partnership with the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF).
As the ACRF celebrates its 40-year milestone, they are committed to supporting their enduring efforts to assist those affected by cancer.
