Daythree Digital Surges Ahead

Kuala Lumpur, Feb 21: Daythree Digital Berhad, a prominent player in the Global Business Services (GBS) sector, has announced a remarkable 38.1 per cent increase in its revenue, achieving RM89.9 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2023.
This significant growth surpasses the previous year’s total of RM65.1 million, reflecting the company’s strong alignment with the booming demand in the GBS industry.
The company’s Profit Before Taxation (PBT) for FY2023 reached RM10.8 million, with an adjustment to RM12.0 million after accounting for one-off listing expenses, marking a 26.3 per cent increase from the previous year’s adjusted PBT of RM9.5 million.
This growth was fueled by the addition of eight new brands and two new business lines from an existing client.
Profit After Taxation (PAT) also saw a rise, increasing by 22.6 per cent to RM7.6 million in FYE2023 from RM6.2 million in FYE2022.

Daythree’s financial success is buoyed by Malaysia’s digital economy ambitions and supportive government policies, enhancing the country’s reputation as a cost-effective and stable GBS destination. The Energy & Utilities sector remains a key revenue driver for Daythree, contributing RM39.9 million, alongside significant earnings from other sectors such as Fintech & Financial services and Telecommunications & Media.

With the Malaysian GBS industry projected to grow significantly by 2027, Daythree is strategically investing the RM33.1 million raised from its listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia, targeting further expansion and innovation.
As of 21 February 2024, Daythree’s share price reflects a market capitalisation of RM170.4 million, underscoring investor confidence in the company’s strategic direction and growth potential.
