Sydney, Jan 17: F. Gary Gray’s exhilarating action-heist movie ‘Lift,’ featuring Kevin Hart, soared to the top of the English Films List this week with a stunning 32.8 million views, claiming the title of the week’s most-watched film.
Meanwhile, J.A. Bayona’s gripping survival drama ‘Society of the Snow’ from Spain, also the country’s Best International Film nominee, broke into the Most Popular Non-English Films List with 28.1 million views in just 11 days, maintaining its number one spot for the second consecutive week.
On the TV front, ‘Fool Me Once,’ a UK-based crime thriller series adapted from Harlan Coben’s work, held its lead on the English TV List for another week with 23.9 million views.

The action-packed drama ‘The Brothers Sun,’ starring Michelle Yeoh, ascended to second place with 6.9 million views.
Notable debuts on the list included the Australian family drama ‘Boy Swallows Universe,’ featuring Phoebe Tonkin, Simon Baker, and Sophie Wilde, at fifth place (3.6 million views), Pete Davidson’s stand-up special ‘Turbo Fonzarelli’ at eighth (2.3 million views), the reality show ‘The Trust’ at ninth (2.1 million views), and the third season of ‘Sonic Prime’ rounding out the list at tenth with 2.1 million views.
The ‘Money Heist’ spin-off ‘Berlin’ from Spain continued its reign atop the Non-English TV List for a third week, garnering 8.7 million views.
New to the list were the Polish mystery series ‘Detective Forst’ at second place with 4.8 million views, the Japanese anime ‘Delicious in Dungeon’ at sixth with 2.2 million views, and ‘Love is Blind: Sweden’ at tenth with 1.1 million views.
Remaining popular on the English Films List were Adam Sandler’s animated comedy ‘Leo,’ holding strong at seventh place in its eighth week with four million views, and Zack Snyder’s epic sci-fi fantasy ‘Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire,’ maintaining its eighth place in its fourth week with 3.9 million views.
