After five years of anticipation, my dream of owning an Alexa has finally materialized.
The Echo Pop, Amazon’s latest addition to the Echo family, landed on my doorstep last week for an exciting review.
Setting up this compact smart speaker was a breeze—just download the app, pair it with your Amazon account, and voila!
I opted to sync it with my Fire TV, and though it posed a challenge initially, both devices coexisted harmoniously after a bit of troubleshooting.
This pairing, especially beneficial for those with mobility issues, now allows me to seamlessly control my Amazon Echo and Fire TV.
The Echo Pop’s compact semi-sphere form factor is a delightful addition to any space, delivering full sound for music, radio, audiobooks, and more.
With its front-facing directional speaker, it’s perfect for bedrooms, apartments, or cosy corners.
The device comes in four elegant colours—Lavender Bloom, Midnight Teal, Charcoal, and Glacier White—ensuring there’s a style for everyone.
Amazon continues to innovate with Echo Pop accessories, including silicone sleeves in seven colours, a glow-in-the-dark option, and a shelf wall mount for the perfect placement.

Additional bases, like a USB charging base and a battery base for portability, enhance the device’s versatility.
Privacy is a top priority for Echo devices, featuring a microphone on/off button and voice recording management.
The Echo Pop integrates seamlessly into your daily life, offering hands-free convenience and a personalized smart home experience.
To sum it up, the Echo Pop delivers on its promise—full audio, a fresh design, and affordability, making it an ideal addition to any smart home setup.
Personal Experience:
My personal experience was that the device was easy to use, allowing me to switch on Netflix, check the weather, and catch up on news bites for the day.
Most importantly, I could listen to music while I work.
The Echo Pop works effortlessly with a smartphone, and if you don’t have one, it might be pointless to get this.
It is easy to set up, doesn’t take up much space, and, did I mention it’s affordable?
It doesn’t break the bank.
