Paris, July 3: Tokyo James, a finalist for the LVMH Prize 2022, is renowned for his cosmopolitan and genderless designs.
In collaboration with 24S.com, the online luxury fashion destination, Tokyo James presents a capsule collection named “Paris,” paying homage to the French capital.
The collection will be available for purchase on 24S.com starting from July 13.
Tokyo James, an eclectic tailor, embarked on his fashion journey after studying mathematics and pursuing a career in finance in London.
In 2015, he launched his fashion house in Lagos, where he created a style that transcends borders by blending British tailoring with Nigerian traditions, boldness, and simplicity.
The “Paris” capsule collection showcases Tokyo James’s five iconic jackets, timeless pieces that embody both masculine and feminine aesthetics. With a genderless approach, Tokyo James reimagines blazers, jackets, bombers, and perfects, adding patches, zips, embroideries, and typographies as a tribute to Paris.

Maud Barrionuevo, Director of Buying and Marketplace at 24S.com, explains, “This season, we wanted to celebrate jackets in all their forms against a Parisian backdrop. Tokyo James has fully embraced this concept by reworking the cuts and incorporating patches, zips, embroideries, and typographies as an ode to Paris.”
For Tokyo James, jackets hold great significance as they possess versatility and ambiguity, serving both as protective garments and means of expressing one’s identity. He believes that clothing creation extends the ability to dream and brings fluidity and diverse human experiences to our daily lives.
As part of their commitment to supporting emerging talent and the LVMH Prize, 24S.com previously collaborated with Ashlyn from South Korea and Conner Ives from the United States. Continuing their dedication to young designers, 24S.com presents an exclusive, innovative, and inclusive capsule collection by Tokyo James, featuring the designer himself.
