Texas, July 11: Gibson Brands, Inc., the renowned instrument manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Cesar Gueikian as the President and CEO of the company.
The decision was confirmed by the Board of Directors, recognizing Gueikian’s significant contributions to rebuilding Gibson over the past five years.
Nat Zilkha, Chairman of Gibson Brands, expressed confidence in Gueikian’s capabilities, stating, “He has established a remarkable track record at Gibson, shaping our product, our marketing, our artist relationships, and many of our important growth initiatives.”

Gueikian joined Gibson in 2018, bringing together his extensive business experience with his lifelong love for music and guitars.
He played a pivotal role in the revival of Gibson, implementing a successful strategy focused on instruments and sound. Gueikian led the relaunch of the brand portfolio, introduced a new portfolio architecture, established Gibson Media, and launched Gibson TV.
Additionally, he secured partnerships with Gibson artists, enabling the global promotion of their music and ensuring Gibson’s continued relevance in the music industry.
Beyond his business acumen, Gueikian is an accomplished musician, guitarist, and songwriter. He has performed alongside renowned artists across various music genres, including Mana, Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo (Metallica), Rex Brown (Pantera), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Snake Sabo (Skid Row), Jared James Nichols, Richie Faulkner (Judas Priest), and Fito Paez.
Gueikian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Universidad de San Andres in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and an MBA from The University of Chicago, specializing in Analytic Finance and Economics.
