Cathay Pacific, in collaboration with the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), is participating in a campaign aimed at providing 500,000 discounted tickets to global visitors.
As part of this initiative, Cathay Pacific will offer a limited number of round-trip air tickets to Hong Kong specifically for individuals across Australia.
This effort is in support of the “Hello Hong Kong” campaign by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), which aims to welcome tourists back to the city now that travel restrictions have been lifted.
Exclusively available to Cathay members, the discounted tickets can be purchased on Monday, May 29, at 12:00 PM AEST.
This exclusive offer serves as an opportunity for Australian residents to visit Hong Kong and indulge in its signature experiences and new exciting offerings.
The “Hello Hong Kong” promotional campaign is being rolled out globally to spread the positive message that Hong Kong is back and ready to provide unforgettable experiences to visitors.
The HKTB, along with the tourism and hospitality sectors, has curated a range of enticing welcoming offers from over 16,000 outlets across the city.
As part of these offers, at least one million “Hong Kong Goodies” visitor consumption vouchers will be distributed, providing complimentary welcome drinks at participating bars, restaurants, and hotels, or cash vouchers that can be redeemed in the transportation, culinary, retail sectors, as well as attractions.
To access the exclusive ticket offer, customers must become Cathay members.
A total of 6,020 round-trip air tickets to Hong Kong will be made available to Australian residents on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocation is exhausted.
Cathay members need to visit Cathay Pacific’s campaign website and sign in using their Cathay membership details to gain access to the discounted tickets.
