Hatten Land Signs Agreement With Huawei

Singapore, Dec 27: SGX Catalist-listed Hatten Land Limited has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Hatten Edge Pte Ltd has entered into a Comprehensive Collaboration Agreement with global leading information and communications technology provider Huawei International Pte Ltd.
Under the CCA, both companies will jointly explore and develop opportunities in cloud computing and enterprise intelligence, renewable energy, data centres, fintech infrastructure in Melaka, Malaysia and the region by utilising their respective capabilities in technology, operational resources and business networks.
Due to the fast-paced digital transformation and impact of the pandemic, Southeast Asia has seen phenomenal growth in digital entertainment, including the gaming and esports sector of which the Malaysian gaming market alone is expected to show an annual growth rate (CAGR 2021-2026) of 9.6 per cent, resulting in a projected market volume of US$676M by 2026.
Tapping on the high growth and profitability potentials of the digital entertainment industry, Huawei endeavours to share its world-class expertise and cutting-edge technology in cloud and enterprise intelligence with Hatten to co-design and co-market innovative cloud products and services, including gaming cloud solutions.

Latest update on the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar
Kuala Lumpur, Dec 30: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirms that Syria will continue to play their home matches in Group A of the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar in a neutral venue.
Therefore, the upcoming Group A tie between Syria and Korea Republic on Feb 1 will be played in the United Arab Emirates.
Korea Republic currently occupy second place in Group A, while Syria will be looking to register their first victory in the campaign after the East Asians recorded a 2-1 victory over their West Asian opponents when the two sides last met at the Ansan Wa Stadium on October 7.

AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 Just Days To Go
Kuala Lumpur, Dec 31: The prestigious AFC Women’s Asian Cup trophy, an iconic symbol of the tournament, will be lifted for only the second time when the leading 12 Asian women’s teams contend for the title in India from Jan 20 to Feb 6, 2022.
The current AFC Women’s Asian Cup trophy was aptly unveiled in Jordan 2018, the first time a country from the West Zone hosted the tournament, as Japan edged Australia 1-0 in the Final to emerge as the first team to lift the new trophy.
With enthralling matches poised for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022, it will be a fitting finale when the champion raises the trophy that was beautifully crafted by world-renowned silversmiths Thomas Lyte of London.
The trophy was designed to embody the spirit and essence of the competition and it stands at an impressive 52.5cm in height and weighs 5.5 kilograms of Hallmarked Sterling Silver bullion.
