Kuala Lumpur, August 6: Malaysians can now enjoy premium Australian products delivered to their doorstep, even while they continue to stay home.
These premium Australian brands from across the State of Victoria, have just reached local shores, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and are now available on Malaysia’s most popular marketplaces, made possible by regional e-Commerce agency Momentum Commerce in collaboration with its Australian partners.
“As more Malaysians switch to online shopping for buying premium items, we are pleased that they will now have access to high-quality products from Victorian exporters,” said KL-based Leigh Howard, Victoria’s Deputy Commissioner to South East Asia in a media statement.
While most Malaysians may be familiar with its capital Melbourne, there are plenty of great brands that come from all over the popular state of Victoria, home to the Great Ocean Road.
The brands available for purchase online are probiotic and prebiotic dairy nutrition Mo Milk, Sukin well-known for its natural skincare range, sensitive skin experts QV, famous Australian Goat soaps, Milk Lab’s dairy and non-dairy products, Swisse supplements, Bubs babycare, Red Tractor superfoods, Ausbarrel Sticky Balsamic vinegar and ViPlus nutritional milk products.
“Immediate access to premium vitamins and supplements to support overall health and immunity has never been more important,” Nick Mann, Managing Director, Swisse Wellness ANZ said.
“We now have the opportunity to offer the best of Swisse Vitamins to our friends in Malaysia and as part of this initiative, we hope they will enjoy a little piece of Aussie life during these trying times.
“We see this project as a start for more businesses in both countries to leverage the opportunities and benefits of e-Commerce.”
Prior to this, Australian products in Malaysia were primarily available at a limited number of selected retail outlets located in key cities.
With the launch of the official brand stores online, Malaysians nationwide can gain access to these products and enjoy Aussie goodness anytime they desire, in the comfort of their homes.
The launch of the official brand e-stores has been made possible by the e-Commerce Accelerator programme developed in collaboration with our Australian partners,” Hans Peter Ressel, CEO and Co-Founder of Momentum Commerce said.
“Our team designed a local end-to-end solution to support and simplify the entire e-Commerce process from store management to branding, marketing, customer service, logistics and fulfilment.
“Managing the entire value-chain locally has enabled Victorian products to reach customers in a timely manner, increasing the convenience and accessibility of Aussie products locally. Customers no longer have to wait for orders to be shipped from warehouses in Victoria, Australia.”
The launch of the official e-Commerce stores guarantees the sale of authentic branded products while enabling shoppers to engage directly with the brand owners to assist with making their purchase decisions.
The availability of after-sales customer service allows consumers to raise and resolve any issues with the brand owners, ensuring increased customer satisfaction throughout the shopping journey.
The Victorian brands are now available on both Lazada and Shopee.
“Malaysians can now shop for Australian products online with confidence, knowing that they are purchasing 100 per cent authentic goods from their favourite Aussie brands’ official LazMall stores on Lazada,” Chenxi Zhou, Head of LazMall Malaysia said.
Our team is committed to ensuring that customers will have a seamless, worry-free online shopping experience with us.”
The mega campaigns will be held from July 25 to August 8 on Lazada and August 13 on Shopee with discounts of up to 30 per cent.
Vouchers and freebies will be up for grabs on both marketplaces.
