BTS New Mattress Collabaration
Kuala Lumpur: International K-Pop phenomenon BTS adds another collaboration to its feather by joining forces with Coway.

Leon Fuat Shareholders Pass Resolution to Acquire Factory For RM28 million
Kuala Lumpur:
Leon Fuat Berhad, a manufacturer and trader of steel products in Malaysia will purchase a factory for RM28 million.
Shareholders passed a resolution for Supreme Steelmakers Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, to acquire the factory, a warehouse and office on a parcel of freehold land in Kajang, Selangor from Leon Fuat Holdings Sdn Bhd, a privately-held company in which several directors and major shareholders have interests in.
“We are pleased that the 14th AGM (annual general meeting) and EGM (extraordinary general meeting) went smoothly on the virtual platform,” Leon Fuat executive director Calvin Ooi said in a statement.
Other resolutions passed included the re-elections of Ng Kok Teong and Ooi Shang How, who were both due for retirement, as executive directors of the Group’s board of directors.
While Chan Kee Loin, Datuk Ng Ah Hock, Tan Did Heng and Tan Sack Sen were re-elected as independent directors of the board.

AYDA returns for its 14th time
Kuala Lumpur:
Budding architects and interior designers can now showcase their talents at the14th Asia Young Designers Awards (AYDA 2021),organized by Nippon Paint Malaysia.
Themed FORWARD: Amplifying Empathy Through Design, the event is aimed at nurturing the next generation of young designers through cross-learning experience and networking with industry professionals, while providing them with a platform to showcase their work and realise their fullest potential.
“We hope that through our diligently designed programme for AYDA 2021, young talents in the design industry will continue to challenge themselves and strive to produce designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but to give birth to ideas that could potentially impact the future of humanity,” Nippon Paint Group Malaysia group managing director Yaw Seng Heng said in a statement.
AYDA 2021 is now open for registration. The deadline for submissions is October 15.
