Epson Launches Two Laser Projectors

If you’ve been eyeing a giant TV, Epson wants you to think bigger. The company has launched two new laser projectors in Australia, promising cinema-sized pictures for everything from small apartments to dedicated home theatres.
The EH-LS6000 and EH-LS7500 complete Epson’s premium EH-LS home cinema range. Both use Epson’s three-chip 3LCD engine with 4K enhancement technology, which puts 8.3 million pixels on screen. Built-in AI processing sharpens fine detail and balances brightness and contrast frame by frame for a more natural picture.
Both run on a laser light source rated for up to 20,000 hours, so there’s no lamp to replace. They reach full brightness in about eight seconds, with almost no cool-down time, and use less power than lamp-based projectors.

EH-LS6000: Go Big

The EH-LS6000 is built for people who want the biggest possible picture. It projects an image up to 500 inches and delivers up to 3,400 lumens of brightness, with a contrast ratio above 3,000,000:1 for deep blacks.
It runs as quietly as 22 decibels in quiet mode. Generous lens shift and ten lens-memory presets make it easier to set up and switch between film formats.

EH-LS7500: Big Screen, Small Room

The EH-LS7500 has a shorter throw, so it can create a large picture from closer to the wall. Its image ranges from 40 to 300 inches, which Epson says suits small homes, garages and even golf simulator setups.
It’s slightly brighter at 3,500 lumens, with a contrast ratio above 5,000,000:1. The lens-shift dials are at the front, so you can adjust the picture without moving the projector, and the front exhaust means it can sit on a shelf at the back of the room.
Gamers get Game Mode, Auto Low Latency Mode and input lag under 20 milliseconds. Both models support eARC for sound over a single HDMI cable, plus Bluetooth 6.0 for headphones and soundbars.

Easy Upgrade

Both projectors fit the existing EH-TW7100 ceiling mount, so owners upgrading from that model can keep their installation. Streaming apps also run directly on the projector.

Price And Availability

The EH-LS6000 costs $5,499 and the EH-LS7500 $5,899. Both are available now, with a three-year warranty and an optional two-year extension.
The same flags as before apply. The release is dated 1 October, so check whether it’s embargoed until then. The prices are listed without a separator, so confirm which is which with Epson. I’ve left out the “400 to 480Hz” refresh rate, since it looks like an error.
