Lufia RPGs Return In 2027
Publisher Clear River Games and Taito have announced Lufia I & II: The Sinistrals Saga, a collection of two 16-bit role-playing games due in 2027.
Announced at the PC Gaming Show Tokyo, it bundles Lufia & the Fortress of Doom with its prequel, Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. It will launch digitally on Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with physical editions for the three consoles to be announced later.
Lufia II is known for the Ancient Cave, a 99-floor procedurally generated dungeon that sends players back to level one. The publisher says more details and launch timing will come in the coming months.
War Thunder Gets Sky Odyssey
Gaijin Entertainment has released Sky Odyssey, the latest major update for its military online action game War Thunder, adding dozens of new vehicles.
The headline additions are the Russian MiG-35 fighter and the US F-102A Delta Dagger interceptor, which is also available to Israel. The F-102A carries no guns, relying on up to six AIM-4 Super Falcon missiles and 24 unguided rockets. The MiG-35 can carry up to eight R-77-1 radar-guided missiles.
Ground vehicles include the EMBT, an experimental tank combining a Leopard 2A7 chassis with a Leclerc S2 turret, available to Germany and France at Rank VIII. The Indonesian Harimau light tank joins the Japanese ground forces tree, and a Mahan-class destroyer is also part of the update.
Three temporary events, Naval Enduring Confrontation, Bullet Hell and Nuclear Escalation, have become permanent game modes. The full list of changes is on the War Thunder website.
