JETOUR Launches T2 i-DM Hybrid
JETOUR Malaysia has launched the T2 i-DM, a plug-in hybrid SUV priced at RM162,800.
It pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a dual-motor electric system for a combined output of up to 265kW and 610Nm. JETOUR claims up to 1,200km of combined driving range and more than 100km on electric power alone. The battery is an 18.4kWh lithium iron phosphate unit, and DC fast charging takes it from 30% to 80% in 27 minutes or less, according to the company.
The first 2,000 customers get an Early Bird Package worth up to RM3,000, with a choice of a free 7kW wallbox charger with installation or RM2,000 in ChargeSini charging credit, plus a free V2L adapter cable. Financing rates start at 1.68%, subject to terms and conditions.
The car comes with a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 160,000km battery warranty and five free services.
New Jalan Alor Seafood Restaurant
Canteen Malaya has opened on Jalan Alor in Kuala Lumpur, offering live seafood and an open kitchen in an air-conditioned, four-level restaurant.
Diners choose their own crab, tiger prawns or fish, which is then cooked to order in view of the dining floor. Crab is the focus of the menu, with more than 30 flavours and preparations, including 12 signature dishes such as Salted Egg Crab, Kam Heong Crab and White Pepper Crab.
The restaurant seats up to 700 guests. The ground and first floors hold the dining areas and private rooms, and the second floor has an event hall for up to 250.
“Our focus is simple: to serve fresh, honest seafood to everyday diners,” said Ms Patricia Wong, Management Representative of Canteen Malaya. “We wanted an open kitchen where guests can watch their seafood being prepared, in a space where they can take their time over a meal.”
Canteen Malaya is at 28, 28A-C, 30 and 30A-C Jalan Alor and is open daily from 11am to 2am.
