NTT DATA Launches Insurance AI
Sydney, Aug 6: NTT DATA has launched NTT DATA AI for Insurance, an AI-native agentic solution designed to help insurers automate and manage complex workflows across underwriting, claims and customer service.
Powered by the company’s AIVista platform, the Service-as-Software solution combines configurable AI agents, insurance-specific data models, workflow orchestration and enterprise-grade governance. It is designed for regulated insurance environments, with auditability, regulatory guardrails and human oversight built into its operations.
NTT DATA said the solution can integrate with insurers’ existing systems and technology environments without locking carriers into specific core systems or foundation AI models.
Its capabilities include specialised AI models and agents trained on carrier and industry-specific data, governance guardrails, an AI-native knowledge base, prebuilt configurable agents and event-driven orchestration connecting AI agents, employees, systems and processes.
The company said the solution could enable up to three times faster deployment of AI agents into underwriting, claims, customer service and other insurance workflows.
NTT DATA currently serves 10 of the world’s 25 largest insurers, operates 16 delivery centres with insurance expertise and employs more than 12,000 insurance specialists globally.
