Perth, July 31: BCF, Australia’s leading outdoor retailer, has opened the country’s first on-site 4×4 installation service at its Cannington store in Perth, Western Australia — giving 4WD owners a one-stop shop to buy and fit out their vehicles for camping, touring, towing and off-road travel.
From this week, customers can have a range of gear professionally fitted, including bullbars, suspension and GVM upgrades, lighting and electrical systems, and roof and touring equipment.
The Cannington store is the pilot site for a broader rollout, with BCF planning at least 50 fitment locations across its national store network.
BCF Managing Director Michael Wassman said the pilot reflects strong demand for 4WDs and accessories in Perth, given the city’s easy access to off-road adventure spots.
“We know how passionate our 4WD customers in Perth are about kitting out their vehicles with the best equipment to power their weekends camping, touring and going off-road,” he said.
“We’re excited to now offer them a one-stop destination for both premium accessories and professional installation, backed by the trusted advice of their local BCF team.”
BCF has partnered with Ironman 4×4’s professional installation specialists, with all work carried out by a qualified mechanical team in a newly built dedicated workshop.
Wassman said the move into fitment services is central to BCF’s growth strategy in the 4×4 category.
“The introduction of professional fitment services will transform BCF into a true full-solution specialist, giving Australian 4×4 enthusiasts exactly what they’ve been asking for,” he said.
“This strategic shift opens up new categories and product specialisations for BCF — like suspension, snorkels and electrical systems — that all require professional fitment.”

Customers at BCF Cannington can now book fitment services in-store, starting with a consultation and quote before purchasing a product and booking an installation slot.
