Perth, July 10: D-Link A/NZ has expanded its mobile networking range with two new 5G Wi-Fi 6 mobile hotspots aimed at remote workers, travellers, students and anyone needing fast internet away from home.
Leading the launch is the F518 5G Wi-Fi 6 AX1800 Mobile Hotspot, which combines 5G connectivity with an 8,000mAh battery capable of delivering up to 16 hours of use. The hotspot supports download speeds of up to 2.6Gbps, connects up to 16 devices simultaneously, and doubles as a power bank with reverse charging via USB-C.
For users with heavier connectivity demands, D-Link has also introduced the DBR-330-G 5G AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Mobile Hotspot. Offering theoretical 5G download speeds of up to 4.67Gbps, it supports up to 32 connected devices and includes a built-in VPN client for secure remote access.
Other features include a 5,260mAh battery providing up to 10 hours of use, USB-C connectivity, a Nano SIM slot, microSD support of up to 2TB, and management through the D-Link FALCON app.
Both hotspots feature dual-band Wi-Fi 6, WPA3 security, plug-and-play Nano SIM support and are designed as an alternative to public Wi-Fi, smartphone tethering or fixed broadband, making them suitable for business travel, temporary workspaces, holidays or as a backup internet connection during outages.
The F518 is priced at AU$449.95 (NZ$599.99), while the DBR-330-G is available for AU$699.95 (NZ$999.99).
Both models are available through D-Link Australia and New Zealand and participating retailers.
