Dell Launches Thinnest XPS Laptop Yet
Perth, June 1: Dell has unveiled the new XPS 13, its thinnest and lightest laptop to date, targeting students and young professionals looking for premium quality at a more accessible price point.
Weighing just 1kg and measuring 12.7mm thin, the XPS 13 is more than 200 grams lighter than Apple’s MacBook Neo and features a 2.5K touch display covering 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, Intel Wi-Fi 7, a backlit keyboard and quad speakers as standard.
The laptop is powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors with up to 32GB of memory, and Dell claims up to 17 hours of streaming battery life. A variable refresh rate display adjusts automatically between 30Hz and 120Hz to balance performance and battery use.
The XPS 13 is available in two finishes, Sky and Storm. Pricing is available at dell.com/en-au.
Blink Launches 2K Doorbell
Perth, June 4: Blink has launched its first 2K video doorbell in Australia, expanding its smart home security range with improved video quality and enhanced motion detection features.
The Blink Doorbell 2K+ offers 2K resolution, a head-to-toe field of view and improved dynamic range designed to help users see visitors, deliveries and activity at their front door more clearly in a range of lighting conditions.
The battery-powered device can be installed without existing doorbell wiring and sends motion alerts directly to the Blink app. Customers who subscribe to a Blink Subscription Plan can also access Smart Detection features that identify people and vehicles and provide cloud storage for recorded clips.
Blink also introduced the Solaris 2K+, a solar-powered security camera system that combines the Outdoor 2K+ camera with a compact solar panel designed to reduce the need for battery replacements.
The Blink Doorbell 2K+ is now available in Australia from AU$109, while the Solaris accessory starts at AU$59 or AU$169 when bundled with an Outdoor 2K+ camera.
