MedPlanner Launches AI Healthcare Ecosystem

Kuala Lumpur, June 3: Malaysian health technology company MedPlanner has launched two new artificial intelligence-powered healthcare solutions, completing what it describes as a full clinical AI ecosystem serving hospitals, clinicians and patients.
The new products, HEMI Health and AskHEMI, join the company’s existing HEMI Teams platform, with all three solutions powered by its proprietary Health Medical Intelligence (HEMI) engine. The launch marks MedPlanner’s expansion from hospital care coordination into clinical documentation and patient support services.
HEMI Health is designed for clinicians and combines AI medical scribing, clinical reasoning documentation, decision support and complaint response tools. The platform is currently available in Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
AskHEMI is a multilingual AI health companion that provides patients and carers with round-the-clock access to health information and guidance. The application is available globally on iOS and Android devices and is aimed at supporting people between clinical appointments.
To support its international growth plans, MedPlanner has established HEMI Limited in London as its global distribution arm, targeting commercial partnerships across the United Kingdom and Europe.
The company will showcase its technology portfolio, including HEMI Teams, HEMI Health and AskHEMI, at NHS ConfedExpo in Manchester on June 10 and 11 as part of its entry into the UK health technology market.
Top Glove Verifies Carbon Footprint

Perth, June 3: Top Glove has become the first glove manufacturer in Malaysia to achieve independent verification of the product carbon footprint (PCF) for its nitrile powder-free 3.5g gloves.
The verification was conducted by global testing, inspection and certification company SGS in accordance with international standards, confirming the product’s carbon footprint at 26.274kg CO2e per 1,000 gloves based on a cradle-to-gate assessment.
Joint Managing Director Lim Jin Feng said, “Customers today are looking beyond product quality and cost; they also want to understand the environmental impact of what they buy. By providing independently verified carbon footprint data, we are giving our customers clear and reliable information to support more responsible choices, while strengthening our own commitment to sustainable manufacturing.”
Top Glove said the milestone builds on its earlier life cycle assessment initiatives and supports growing demand from customers, regulators and stakeholders for greater transparency on greenhouse gas emissions throughout the supply chain.
The company said the initiative forms part of its broader efforts to strengthen sustainable manufacturing practices and expand its portfolio of environmentally responsible products.
