Logitech Adds Haptics

Perth, May 21: Logitech’s MX Master 4 has added native haptic feedback support for Windows 11, allowing users to feel subtle vibration responses during selected productivity actions.
The feature is available to existing MX Master 4 users through a firmware update in Logi Options+, while new units shipping this spring will support the capability out of the box.
Logitech said the haptic feedback works with actions such as aligning objects in PowerPoint, snapping windows and resizing windows, with more effects expected to roll out across Windows 11 and third-party applications in coming months.
“Logitech is at the forefront of haptic innovation and, by working in close collaboration with Microsoft, we ensure our users are the first to experience the next generation of productivity,” says Art O’Gnimh, General Manager of Mouse and Keyboard Solutions at Logitech. “We integrated advanced haptic hardware into the MX Master 4 ahead of the curve, anticipating a shift toward more immersive operating systems. With the launch of Windows 11, that engineering foresight pays off. We have delivered a zero-friction, meaningful experience that remains the only one of its kind in the industry.”
“With advanced haptics in Windows 11, everyday interactions are more responsive, clear, and natural,” says Dave Dame, Senior Director of Human Centred Design, Microsoft. “MX Master 4 delivers that experience from day one, extending interactions beyond the screen and setting a new bar for how hardware and software come together.”
As of May 21, 2026, Logitech says the MX Master 4 remains the only productivity mouse able to deliver native Windows 11 haptic integration through a simple firmware update.
