Perth, May 19: After reading numerous positive reviews online, DailyStraits.com requested to review Orbitkey’s Urban Sling and Travel Sling to see whether the bags lived up to the hype particularly for travellers looking for a lightweight yet premium carry solution for flights and daily commuting.
The Urban Sling, priced at $124.90, is the roomier of the two with a 4L capacity and a slim but expandable design.
It looks compact from the outside, but the expandable gusset gives it enough flexibility for daily essentials such as a phone, wallet, passport, keys, earbuds, sunglasses and small travel items.
What makes it useful is the thoughtful pocket layout.
The secure rear pocket is ideal for a passport or phone, while the front zip pockets open wide enough to see what is inside without everything spilling out.
The custom mounting hardware is also handy for items such as keys, AirTags or AirPods.

The Travel Sling, also priced at $124.90, is slightly smaller at 3L but feels more travel-focused.
It can be worn crossbody or converted into a pouch by removing the strap, making it useful for flights, airport lounges, hotel stays or work trips where you want one compact bag for your most important items.
Its anti-theft features are the standout.
The hidden RFID-blocking pockets and zipper locking system are reassuring, especially when moving through airports, crowded terminals or sitting on long-haul flights where keeping valuables close matters.
With reports of theft on planes and in transit spaces becoming a growing concern for travellers, a small crossbody bag feels like a smarter option than leaving valuables in an overhead compartment.

Both bags have a premium finish, with water-resistant materials, waterproof zippers, smooth YKK hardware and a clean professional look.
They do not feel like casual throwaway travel accessories. Instead, they feel thoughtfully designed for modern travellers who want practicality without sacrificing style.
For flights, these slings are especially useful because they encourage lighter packing.
Instead of carrying a large backpack or handbag on board, travellers can keep passports, cards, phones, chargers, earphones and other must-haves close to the body and easy to access throughout the journey.
The Urban Sling is better for those who want more flexibility and a little extra space, while the Travel Sling is better for those who prioritise security and a more compact travel setup.
Overall, Orbitkey’s slings are polished, practical and well suited to modern travel.
For commuters, frequent flyers and light packers, they offer a smart way to keep essentials organised, protected and close at hand.
