Orbitkey Launches Grid

Perth, May 14: Orbitkey is preparing to launch its 13th Kickstarter campaign for the Grid Desk Organizer, a modular storage system designed for desks, drawers and everyday workspaces.
The Melbourne-based design brand, known for collaborations with Disney and Star Wars and as a recipient of the Red Dot and iF Design Awards, will launch the campaign on 14 May 2026.
Grid features a snap-in pegboard system with movable dividers, allowing users to create, rearrange and reconfigure compartments in seconds.
The organizer is designed to reduce wasted space and help users manage items that tend to accumulate on desks or inside drawers.
The Kickstarter campaign will run until 10 June 2026.
Colour Kindle Arrives

Perth, May 13: Amazon will launch its redesigned Kindle Scribe lineup in Australia next month, including the first-ever colour Kindle Scribe.
The new range includes Kindle Scribe, Kindle Scribe without a front light, and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, with pre-orders open from today and shipping from June 10, 2026.
The devices feature an 11-inch glare-free display, a thinner and lighter design, faster writing and page turns, and AI-powered notebook tools, including search across notebooks, summaries and follow-up questions.
“Australians are increasingly looking for ways to create moments of uninterrupted focus in a world full of constant notifications and distractions,” says Jacqui Corbett, Amazon Devices Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand.

Kobo Launches Floral Cases

Perth, May 12: Kobo adds colour to winter reading with the launch of new limited-edition collector cases for its eReaders.
The new cases come in two floral designs, Green Canopy and Botanical Bliss, and are designed to give Kobo devices a more personal and stylish touch.
They are compatible with the Kobo Libra Colour, Kobo Clara Colour and Kobo Clara BW.
The Libra Colour Collector Case is priced at $49.95, while the Clara BW/Colour Collector Case is priced at $44.95.
The cases are available from May 12 via Kobo.com.
Amazfit Unveils Running Watch
Perth, May 11: Amazfit has unveiled the Cheetah 2 Pro, a new performance-focused smartwatch designed for marathon runners and endurance training.
The smartwatch features dual-band GPS, running and recovery metrics, up to 31 hours of GPS battery life and integration with platforms including Strava and TrainingPeaks.

TCL TVs Arrive

Perth, May 11: TCL’s new Super Quantum Dot Mini LED TV range is now available in Australia, including the flagship X11L, C8L and C7L models.
The 2026 range features SQD-Mini LED technology, designed to improve light control, colour performance and overall viewing quality. The TVs also include Google Gemini AI, with TCL saying it is the first TV brand globally to launch with Gemini pre-installed.
“TCL’s mission has always been to make advanced technology accessible while continuing to push the boundaries of what display products can do. We’re thrilled to bring our 2026 TV line-up to the Australian market,” said Hawk Zhang, TCL Electronics Australia and New Zealand’s Managing Director.

Logitech Updates MX
Perth, May 11: Logitech has introduced new updates to its MX ecosystem, aimed at improving productivity and creative workflows across its hardware and software products.
The updates include Enhanced Easy Switch, which allows users to move an MX keyboard, mouse and MX Creative Dialpad between computers with one key press.
“Our goal is to enhance the workflows of advanced users, while making the technology behind it invisible,” said Maxim Bondar, head of MX business and marketing at Logitech. “By introducing community-requested features like Enhanced Easy Switch and our new productivity plugins, including for Microsoft Office, I am happy we continue to add more ‘superpowers’ to the MX Ecosystem.”
The Actions Ring feature is also being expanded across the MX lineup, including the MX Master 4, MX Master 3S, MX Anywhere 3S, MX Keys S, MX Keys Mini, MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini.
Logitech is also introducing new productivity plugins for Microsoft Office, Notion for Desktop and Slack, allowing users to access key actions and tools through the MX Creative Console and Actions Ring.
Sony Expands Alpha

Perth, May 14: Sony Electronics has introduced the Alpha 7R VI, the sixth generation of its Alpha 7R series, alongside the FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS G Master™ Super-Telephoto Zoom Lens.
The Alpha 7R VI is a full-frame mirrorless camera featuring an approximately 66.8 effective megapixel back-illuminated fully-stacked Exmor RS™ CMOS sensor and the new BIONZ XR2™ engine.
The camera is designed to deliver high-resolution images, accurate colour and reliable performance across a wide range of subjects, including people in motion, wildlife and landscapes.
Sony has also announced the FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS G Master™ Super-Telephoto Zoom Lens for full-frame Alpha™ E-mount cameras. The lens offers high resolution, bokeh and high-precision autofocus, with AF performance up to three times faster than the FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS.

The Alpha 7R VI will be available in Australia from May 2026 with an SRP of $6,999 AUD. The XLR-A4 XLR adapter will be available from early June 2026 with an SRP of $1,099 AUD, while the FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS G Master™ Super-Telephoto Zoom Lens will be available from late May 2026 with an SRP of $7,399 AUD.
Epson Heads To ENTECH

Perth, May 14: Epson will showcase its latest projector and display technologies at the ENTECH 2026 Australian Roadshows, which will travel across five major cities from 19 May to 2 June 2026.
The company will present a range of high-brightness and creative display solutions designed for professional AV, live events and commercial installations.
Among the products on display will be the EB-PQ2220B 4K 20,000-lumen projector paired with an LX02S ultra-short throw lens and 120-inch screen.
Epson said the projector is designed to deliver high image precision, brightness and colour accuracy for large-scale projection environments.
Also featured will be two EB-L690SE short-throw projectors configured in a vertically stacked setup to produce a combined 12,000 lumens, targeting meeting spaces, museums, retail and education environments where installation flexibility is important.
Epson will also showcase the LightScene EV-110, a projection solution designed for immersive storytelling and digital ambience in hospitality, gallery and retail spaces.

CyberPower has expanded its Australian rack power portfolio with new PDU models designed for high-density IT, network and data-centre environments.
Perth, May 14: CyberPower Systems has expanded its Power Distribution Units range in Australia with new models designed for modern IT and data centre environments.
The new PDU41004, PDU41005, PDU44004 and PDU44005 models extend CyberPower’s rack power portfolio, offering scalable power distribution for IT managers, systems integrators, managed service providers and data centre operators.
CyberPower said the new models are designed for high-density rack environments, including comms rooms, network cabinets, edge computing deployments and data-centre racks.

Perth, May 14: Magna Systems will showcase its latest telco and broadcast technology solutions at BroadcastAsia 2026, taking place from 20-22 May at the Singapore Expo.
The company’s stand will feature demonstrations focused on 4G, 5G, emerging 6G networks and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), alongside its “Building the Future Broadcast Stack” showcase.
Magna said its telco demonstrations will include wireless testing and optimisation technologies from LIG Accuver, electromagnetical compatibility testing solutions from JSDenki, electromagnetic field monitoring systems from WaveControl, and wireless network planning tools from iBWave.
The showcase will also include 5G private network and energy-saving solutions from Pegatron.
