Perth, May 11: The Logitech MX Anywhere 3S arrived today and was tested immediately with an iMac.
The switch came after using Apple’s Magic Mouse, which had started to feel uncomfortable on the fingers during longer work sessions.

Setup was fast and straightforward, with the mouse connecting within seconds and ready to use almost immediately.
First impressions were positive, although the mouse was smaller than expected.
Its compact size, however, makes it easy to handle and comfortable for long periods of use.

The standout feature is the silver scroll wheel, which feels smooth and responsive when moving through documents, websites and editing screens.
For anyone who spends a lot of time writing, browsing, editing or studying, this small detail makes daily computer use feel easier.

The MX Anywhere 3S also features quiet clicks, 8K DPI tracking and Logitech’s MagSpeed scroll wheel, which is designed to move quickly through long pages and documents.
One limitation noticed during testing was the inability to seamlessly cross-use the mouse across different assets and devices during the initial setup process, despite the MX series promoting multi-device workflows.

It would suit editors, students, gamers and anyone who spends long hours using a computer and wants a compact, comfortable mouse for daily use.
The model reviewed came in graphite and includes a charging cable.
Logitech also highlights the use of recycled plastic in the mouse and lists its carbon footprint at 3.44kg CO2e.
The Logitech MX Anywhere 3S is priced at $139.95.
