Emirates Restores Network
Perth, May 4: Emirates says it has restored 96 per cent of its global network following a period of disruption.
The airline is now operating to 137 destinations across 72 countries, with more than 1,300 weekly frequencies, representing 75 per cent of pre-disruption capacity.
Emirates carried 4.7 million passengers between March 1 and April 30 during the disruption period.
The airline said it is also offering flexible rebooking, Dubai Connect stopover options and enhanced Skywards benefits, including reduced tier requirements and bonus tier miles from May 1 to August 31, 2026.
Jetstar Free Return Sale
Perth, May 4: Jetstar has launched a 48-hour birthday sale offering more than 75,000 free return fares across over 80 domestic and international routes.
The “Return for Free” promotion allows travellers to book an outbound starter fare and receive the return flight at no additional cost on selected travel dates.
Domestic one-way fares start from $64, with routes such as Adelaide to Melbourne (Avalon) and Sydney to Ballina Byron included. International fares begin from $249, including Perth to Bali (Denpasar) and Brisbane to Seoul (Incheon).
The sale opens to the public at midnight AEST on May 5 and runs until 11.59pm AEST on May 6, unless sold out earlier. Club Jetstar members receive 12 hours of early access from midday AEST on May 4.
Jetstar executive manager customer and digital, Prue McKenzie, said the sale highlights the airline’s continued focus on low-cost travel amid rising living expenses.
“Low fares are in Jetstar’s DNA, and for 22 years we’ve been focused on helping customers take off more, for less,” she said.
Travel dates vary by route, with domestic availability from mid-January to late February 2027 and international travel from mid-June 2026 to mid-March 2027.
