Perth, March 10: Looki L1 has drawn attention following its debut at CES, positioning itself as a new generation of AI wearable designed to capture and interpret real-world activity in real time.
The device stood out at CES for its ability to operate proactively rather than reactively, using multimodal sensing that combines vision, audio and motion to understand a user’s surroundings and automatically record key moments.
According to the company, Looki L1 can log meetings, recognise interactions and store contextual information without requiring manual input, allowing users to remain focused while the device captures events in the background.
The wearable is designed to function as a continuous memory and productivity tool, enabling users to review conversations, recall details and document activities across work, travel, events and daily life.
Weighing about 32 grams, the device is built for all-day use and includes on-device processing intended to support privacy-first data handling. A dedicated Expo Mode, developed for use at CES, allows the wearable to track booth visits, meetings and conversations automatically during large events.
The company said the goal of Looki L1 is to move beyond traditional voice-activated assistants by creating a system that observes context and provides information without requiring specific commands.
Early demonstrations at CES generated strong interest, as the wearable reflects a broader shift towards AI systems designed to operate continuously in the background rather than only when prompted.
