Jeddah Flights Resume

Perth, March 3: Malaysia Airlines will temporarily resume selected return services to and from Jeddah (JED) and Madinah (MED) between 4 and 8 March 2026, following the earlier suspension of services on 28 February due to airspace closures in parts of the Middle East.
However, flights to and from Doha (DOH) will remain suspended until 7 March 2026 as the airline continues to assess the security situation.
Services beyond 8 March remain subject to further review and may be revised if necessary.
The resumed services include multiple Kuala Lumpur–Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur–Madinah rotations across 4–8 March, with scheduled departures operating at various times throughout the period.
Affected passengers are being notified directly and offered alternative travel arrangements where required.
All other Malaysia Airlines services, including flights to London (LHR) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), continue to operate as scheduled via alternative routings well clear of the affected conflict zone.
Malaysia Airlines said the safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain its highest priority, with proactive measures in place including alternative flight paths, close coordination with aviation authorities and airport partners, strengthened in-flight safety and operational procedures, and ongoing passenger updates via its website, Live Chat support and Global Contact Centre.
