Galaxy Buds4 Debut

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4 in Australia, positioning the new earbuds around upgraded hi-fi audio, improved wearability and smarter adaptive controls. The Buds4 Pro adds a wider woofer, enhanced Active Noise Cancellation and an upgraded Adaptive Equaliser designed to better preserve full-spectrum sound while adjusting to real-world listening conditions.
“Samsung understands that a truly premium audio experience combines technical sound quality with how that sound feels throughout a user’s day,” said Ikhyun Cho, Corporate VP of Mobile Enhancement R&D Team, Mobile eXperience. “With the Galaxy Buds4 series, our design philosophy was uncompromising, providing all-day comfort without sacrificing audio performance, because these are what consumers value most. We engineered our most powerful hi-fi audio and our most secure, ergonomic fit to enhance one another, delivering the best and most satisfying listening experience we’ve ever created.”
Samsung said the Buds4 series uses a “computational design” approach informed by global ear data and simulations to deliver smaller, better-fitting earbud heads for stability and all-day comfort, alongside a redesigned stabilised blade with pinch controls and a transparent clamshell cradle for storage and charging. Buds4 Pro uses a canal-fit design, while Buds4 adopts an open-fit architecture, with colour options including White and Black across both models and an online-exclusive Pink Gold for Buds4 Pro on Samsung.com/au.
On the audio side, Samsung said Buds4 Pro’s larger speaker system supports 24-bit/96kHz playback and pairs hardware upgrades with enhanced adaptive ANC/EQ that analyses wearing conditions and ear shape to optimise noise cancelling and sound in real time. The lineup also introduces Super Clear Call with super wideband call technology aimed at improving voice clarity in noisy environments.

Dell XR9700 Debuts

Dell Technologies has launched the PowerEdge XR9700, a closed-loop liquid-cooled, fully enclosed rugged server designed to run Cloud RAN, Open RAN and edge AI workloads in unprotected outdoor environments. Dell says it is the industry’s first outdoor x86 server for cloud RAN and edge applications, built for zero-footprint deployments on utility poles, rooftops and building exteriors.
The IP66-rated, GR-3108 Class 4 certified server is built for harsh conditions, with closed-loop liquid cooling designed to operate from -40°C to 46°C and withstand direct solar radiation in a compact 15-litre form factor. Powered by Intel Xeon 6 SoC with Intel vRAN Boost and Intel AMX, Dell says the XR9700 can support up to 15 5G sectors in a single server while also running edge and AI applications.
Andrew Vaz, vice president, Dell Technologies: “Operators and enterprises shouldn’t have to compromise when deploying compute in challenging environments. The Dell PowerEdge XR9700 brings Cloud RAN, Open RAN, and edge AI capabilities to places they’ve never been able to go before, opening up new possibilities for network expansion and edge applications.”
Cristina Rodriguez, VP and General Manager, Intel Network & Edge said: “Intel Xeon 6 SoC processors are built to deliver market-leading performance with breakthrough power- and space-efficiency. Through long-standing collaboration with Dell – including the newest PowerEdge servers – together, we’re empowering operators and enterprise alike to access the power of open, virtualised and AI-driven innovations for their most challenging environments. This represents a significant step forward in making 5G and edge computing truly ubiquitous.”

Firefly Adds Quick Cut

Adobe has introduced Quick Cut inside its Firefly video editor, a new feature designed to help creators rapidly assemble a structured first edit from uploaded footage or AI-generated clips. The update aims to eliminate the “empty timeline” problem by turning raw b-roll and long-form recordings into an initial narrative draft that users can refine.
“I use Adobe Firefly as a thought starter,” says YouTuber Brandon Baum. “I like to generate a few things, iterate on my ideas quickly, try, try, try, fail fast, and hopefully find the gold. Then I use its various generation tools as I build out my timeline to create visual frames, soundtracks and transitions.”
Quick Cut allows users to upload footage and describe the type of video they want to create — such as an interview, product demo or vlog — with options to define pacing, duration, aspect ratio and supporting b-roll tracks. Adobe says the tool is suited for workflows including product reviews, interviews, podcasts and marketing recaps.
“My podcast doesn’t just need audio, it needs thumbnails and b-roll. My nonprofit needs tons of images. My startup needs marketing assets. Firefly helps with all of it and more, supercharging my team to work faster and get even more creative.”
Adobe is also promoting a limited-time Firefly offer providing unlimited image and video generations (up to 2K resolution) for eligible subscribers who sign up before March 16 via firefly.adobe.com.

Raw C Goes Gooey

Raw C has launched a new Easter-themed beverage, Raw C Gooey Caramel Filled Easter Egg Coconut Water, offering a dairy-free, gluten-free alternative to traditional chocolate treats. The product is a 1L coconut water drink blended with gooey caramel flavour and designed to be served chilled.
Raw C says the beverage is dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO and free from artificial additives, targeting consumers seeking an indulgent seasonal option suited to various dietary preferences.
“We wanted to capture that nostalgic, ‘melt-in-your-mouth’ magic of a golden caramel egg and bottle it,” described Scott Mendelsohn, Founder of Raw C. “This isn’t just a drink; it’s a liquid dessert. We’ve dialled up those rich, toasted caramel notes and paired them with our silky coconut water to create a velvety profile that hits every sweet spot (minus the dairy heaviness).”
The 1L Raw C Gooey Caramel Filled Easter Egg Coconut Water is available exclusively at Woolworths.
